Oracle Buys AmberPoint
Redwood Shores-based Oracle said Monday that it has acquired AmberPoint, a developer of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) management software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Oakland-based AmberPoint was backed by SAP, Crosslink Capital, Meritech Capital Partners, Motorola Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners and Sutter Hill Ventures.
