JDSU announced this morning that it is in a definitive agreement to acquire
Agilent's Network Solutions communications test business. The deal is worth $165M in cash. JDSU said the buy will "significantly" expand its communications test position. Agilent's Network Solutions business includes equipment for testing Long Term Evolution (LTE), 4G network products. JDSU reported that the Agilent unit had annual revenues of $162M.
