Quova Wins SEGA
Mountain View-based Quova reported today that the firm has signed on SEGA Games Limited as a customer. Financial terms of the win were not disclosed. Quova said that SEGA Games is using the firm to prohibit users from certain countries from accessing its sites, which include skilled gaming and other services. The firm said that certain regions--including the Untied States--are not allowed to use its services, which include gaming products like Blackjack, Roulette, Slots, and Texas Hold 'em. Quova is a provider of technology which determines the geographic location of users based on their IP address and other information.
