VirnetX Gets $12M In PIPE
Scotts Valley-based VirnetX Holding Corporation, a publicly held firm commercializing patents around real-time communications and collaboration, said this morning that it has raised $12M in a private placement. Source of the new funding was not disclosed. VirnetX holds patents, derived from a CIA security project, around voice-over-IP and instant messaging.
