Picnik Acquired by Google
Seattle-based Picnik, which provides an online photo editing tool, said Monday that it has been acquired by Google. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Picnik said its team will continue to work on photo editing tools, but did not say if the service would remain as a stand-alone or would be integrated with one of Google's other photo services. The firm was started in 2005, and had 20 employees.
