Trimble Buys LET Systems
Sunnyvale-based Trimble said Friday that it is acquiring LET Systems, an firm based in Cork, Ireland, developing incident and outage management systems for utilities. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Trimble said the move is part of its strategic utilities and smart grid initiative. LET's product is used by electric, gas, water and wastewater utilities.
