San Jose-based Chromasun, a developer of rooftop solar collectors for reducing air-conditioning loads, announced this week that it has closed on $3M in its first institutional funding. According to the firm, the round was led by Danish firm VKR Holding, and also included GoGreen Capital and two, un-named U.S. investors. The firm said the funding will go towards market introduction of its product, which is used to reduce the demand of air conditioning systems.
