SmartZip Gets $4.5M
Pleasanton-based SmartZip, which operates an online service that helps home buyers analyze the investment potential of residential properties, has raised $4.5M in a venture funding round. The round has not been announced by the firm, and was revealed through regulatory filings. The firm now lists board members from Claremont Creek Ventures and Javelin Venture Partners on its web site. John Steuart of Claremont Creek, and Jed Katz of Javelin are members of the firm's board.
