Netflix CEO Reed Hastings, along with nonprofit venture capital firm Charter Fund have acquired a Bellevue, Washington-based developer of elementary school math software, Dreambox Learning. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. According to Dreambox Learning, Hastings and Charter Fund are also investing $10M in the company. Dreambox Learning develops kindergarten through third grade math learning software, which is accessible online as a software-as-a-service offering.
