LeadForce1, a developer of online marketing automation software, has raised $1.6M, in a funding related to an undisclosed merger or acquisition, according to a regulatory filing by the company. LeadForce1, which develops software to help companies convert online visitors into sales leads and help identify website visitors interest and intent, is headed by Srihi Kumar, who has been involved with VXtreme (acquired by Microsoft), Yodlee (acquired by Warburg Pincus), InMage Systems, and RingCube. The firm's filing indicates that Kumar Malavalli, co-founder of Brocade Communications and InMage Systems, is on the firm's board.
