Zenverge, a developer of ICs for media transcoding, encoding, and decoding, announced today that it has raised $30M in a Series C funding round. The round was led by Battery Ventures, and also included prior investors DCM, Norwest Venture Partners, and Motorola Ventures. Battery's Ken Lawler joins the company's board as part of the funding. Zenverge said it will use the funds to ramp production, and expand marketing and development.
