Twitter Buys SMS Messaging Startup
Twitter announced Friday that it has acquire Cloudhopper, a startup developing SMS messaging infrastructure, which is used by Twitter to conect to mobile carrier networks. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Twitter said it has been working with Cloudhopper for the last eight months. Cloudhopper was founded by Joe Lauer.
