ImageSpan Gets Funding, New CEO
Sausalito-based ImageSpan, a developer of content licensing and royalty software, announced today that it has received a new round of growth financing, and named a new CEO. The firm said that the new round of financing came from Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments and CityLight Capital. Amount of the funding was not disclosed, however, a recent regulatory filing pins the round at $3.19M. The firm also said it has named Kurt Garbe as Chief Executive Officer of the company; Garbe has previously served at SolutionSet, USWeb, Adobe, Movaris, and Asera.
