NextLight Acquired By First Solar
San Francisco-based NextLight Renewable Power, a developer of solar power projects, has been acquired by solar module manufacturer First Solar. First Solar said it would pay approximately $285M in cash for NextLight, bringing about 1,100 megawatts of solar power projects to its portfolio. NextLight was founded in 2007, and was headed by Frank De Rosa.
