ActiveVideo Networks Buys TAG Networks
San Jose-based ActiveVideo Networks, a developer of interactive television products, said today that it has acquired TAG Networks, a developer of network games for IPTV networks and television. TAG was based in Mountain View. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. As part of the acquisition, ActiveVideo said that TAG will relocate to its headquarters in San Jose. TAG was founded by Sangita Verma.
