Mobly Acquired By Groupon
Palo Alto-based Mob.ly, the mobile development firm headed by Mihir Shah and Yishai Lerner, has been acquired by Chicago group deals site Groupon, Groupon announced Wednesday. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Groupon said that, as a result of the acquisition, it will be opening up a Silicon Valley technology office. Groupon founder and CEO Andrew Mason said in a statement that "now there is no excuse to not work for us".
