BookRenter Adds Netflix Co-Founder Randolph To Board

, an online provider of textbook rentals, said today that it has added Marc Randolph, co-founder of Netflix, to its board of directors. Randolph co-founded Netflix with Reed Hastings, and was CEO of the firm until 1999. Randolph retired from Netflix in 2002, and is now an investor and consultant to technology startups. BookRenter is backed by Storm Ventures and Adams Capital Management.
