Aruba Buys Azalea Networks
Sunnyvale-based Aruba Networks, a provider of wireless LAN hardware for enterprises, said today that it has acquired Azalea Networks, a developer of outdoor mesh networking products. The deal is worth aproximately $27M in stock, plus up to $13.5M in cash in earnout. Aruba said the buy would expand its operations to Beijing, where Azalea Networks is based. Aruba said that Azalea had 2009 revenues of approximately $5 million, over 140 customers.
