Solaria Collects $45M
Fremont-based Solaria, a developer and manufacturer of photovoltaic modules for the solar industry, announced Tuesday that it has raised $45M in a financing round. The round was led by CMEA Capital and DBL Investors, and also included Sigma Partners, NGEN Partners, Mitsui Ventures, and Savitr Capital. Solaria said the funding will go towards "aggressive" growth plans. Solaria's panels are used for ground-mounted, tracking systems.
