Obopay Names President
Redwood City-based Obopay, a developer of mobile banking and payment technology, said today that it has named Deepak Chandnani as President. Chandnani has been at Obopay since November of 2008, and previously also served at Wire and Wireless, NCR, Yahoo, and Citibank. Obopay said that Chandnani will be based out of its corporate offices in Mumbai, India. Chandnani was originally responsible for Obopay's Indian, African, and Asian operations.
