Accel Partners Hires RealNetworks' Glaser
Palo Alto-based Accel Partners said this morning that it has added Rob Glaser, Chairman and founder of RealNetworks, to the firm. Accel said it has named Glaser to the position of Venture Partner, where he will focus on digital media technology, social media, and mobile service investments. Glaser founded RealNetworks in 1994, and was CEO of the firm from February 1994 through January 2010. Accel was one of the backers of RealNetworks.
