Ford Tamer, who was most recently a partner at Khosla Ventures, has departed the firm and has become CEO of
Telegent Systems, a developer of mobile TV receivers. Telegent said Thursday that Tamer takes up the reins of CEO from co-founder Samuel Sheng, who the firm said will resume his position as Chief Technology Officer. Tamer had most recently been helping expand Khosla's clean technology efforts, and had previously been at Broadcom, helped co-found Agere, and also served at Dazel and MegaKnowledge.
