Google Voice Opens Up
Mountain View-based Google said today that it has opened up access to its Google Voice phone service. The service allows users to have a unified phone service which routes calls to a user's various phones, handles voicemail, and make free calls and sent free text messages. The service had been invite-only for the last fifteen months.
