GetJar Raises $11M
San Mateo-based GetJar, which operates an online application store for mobile phones, announced today that it has raised $11M in a Series B funding. The round came from Accel Partners. The firm said the new funding will go toward "continued innovations" on its sites and to fuel traffic growth. GetJar was started in the United Kingdom, where it still has offices. The firm also has operations in Lithuania.
