Barracuda Networks: We're Not Buying SonicWALL
Campbell-based Barracuda Networks said Thursday afternoon that it's not the private company looking to buy San Jose-based SonicWall. SonicWall had said in a filing earlier this week that it has received an offer from an un-named private to acquire the company, at a premium to its existing offer from private equity firm Thoma Bravo. Barracuda said the speculation that the firm is involved in the negotiations for SonicWall were "unfounded" and that the firm is "not having any such discussions."
