Ferrotec Buys Integrated Materials
Santa Clara-based Ferrotec (USA) Corporation, a suppliers of materials for the semiconductor manufacturing industry, said Monday that it has acquired Integrated Materials, a developer of a technology for manufacturing poly silicon furnaceware for the semiconductormanufacturing industry. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Integrated Materials was venture backed by Alloy Ventures, American River Ventures, and Labrador Ventures. Ferrotec said the acquisition will complement its existing line of advanced materials for the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
