Adobe Systems said this morning that it is in a definitive agreement for its to acquire
Day Software, a developer of web content management and digital asset management software, for $240M. Day is based in Basel, Switzerland. According to Adobe, the buy will strengthen its enterprise software solutions. Adobe said that Day Software will become part of its Digital Enterprise Solutions Business Unit, with Day CEO Erik Hansen joining Adobe and reporting to Rob Tarkoff.
