PURE Storage Raises $18.4M
Mountain View-based PURE Storage, a stealth mode firm whose founders include Veritas founding engineering John Colgrove and former Veritas VP Mike Speiser, has raised $18.4M in a funding round, according to a regulatory filing by the firm this week. No details on the funding--or the company--have been announced. Speiser is currently Managing Director at Sutter Hill Ventures, and the firm's board also includes Mark Leslie, the founding CEO of Veritas. Greylock's Aneel Bhusri also sits on the board, according to the filing. Colgrove was behind the Veritas VxVM and VxFS products, as well as all of that firm's major storage products.
