Teleplace, a provider of teamwork and collaboration software for enterprises, said Wednesday that it has closed on an additional round of financing. Size of the funding, and source, was not disclosed. As part of the funding, the firm said it has appointed Anthony Nemelka as President and CEO of the firm. Greg Nuyens, cofounder of the company, becomes Chairman of the firm's board. Nemelka was the former CEo and co-founder of Helpstream, and has also served at IBM, Peoplesoft, Adobe and Socialtext.
