VSS Monitoring Taps Into $20M
Burlingame-based VSS Monitoring, a developer of distributed network traffic capture products for data centers, said Tuesday that it raised $20M in a first institutional round of funding. The round came from Battery Ventures. According to the firm, the funding will go towards R&D, customer and partner support, and sales and marketing. Neeraj Agrawal and Alex Benik of Battery Ventures have joined the company's board of directors along with the funding round.
