Recurrent Energy Acquired By Sharp
San Francisco-based Recurrent Energy, a developer of renewable solar energy projects, has been acquired by Sharp, Sharp said yesterday. According to Sharp, it will pay $305M in cash for Recurrent Energy. Recurrent develops distributed solr energy projects, with around 2GW of projects in its pipeline in the U.S. and Canada. Recurrent was backed by Hudson Clean Energy Partners.
