HP Names SAP's Apotheker As CEO
Palo Alto-based HP said Thursday that it has named Leo Apotheker, former CEO of SAP, as its new CEO. The appointment came after a tumultuous two months for the firm, after ousting Mark Hurd due to issues with a female contractor, and Hurd's move over to Oracle. As part of the CEO move, the firm also said it has named Kleiner Perkins' Ray Lane as non-executive Chairman of the firm.
