Actel, a developer of field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) and related products, has been acquired by
Microsemi. The deal is worth $430M, made up of $20.88 per share in cash. According to Microsemi, the acquisition would strengthen its position in the security & defense, commercial aerospace & satellite, enterprise & commercial, and industrial markets.
