Wilson Sonsini Expands in Hong Kong
Palo Alto-based Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, one of the most prominent law firms in the area of venture backed and other technology firms, said today that it is expanding into Hong Kong, and has opened an office there. The firm said it has been focused on China for awhile, and Hong Kong was the "logical place" for it to open a second office in China. Wilson Sonsini said it has been representing clients in Greater China, with such matters as cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, capital markets, joint venture and other forms of foreign investments, branch operations, spin-offs, and intellectual property and employment benefits counseling.
