Flickr Gets Friendly
Flickr, the online photo sharing site owned by Yahoo, said Wednesday that it has rolled out a new feature which helps users find other users they might know using the service. The new feature--very similar to features from Twitter and Facebook--allows users to see who they might be connected with, and follow them as a contact on the site. The site said the People You May Know feature allows users to add them from the Flickr homepage, or a special Find Your Friends page. Users looking for friends previously had to enter an email address to locate other people.
