Cisco Buys Network Management Software Firm
San Jose-based Cisco said this morning that it intends to acquire LineSider Technologies, a provider of network management software for the cloud computing infrastructure market. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. Cisco said that LineSider will enhance its ability to rapidly provision network services. LineSider was based in Danvers, Mass.
