Zynga Buys Newtoy
San Francisco-based Zynga said this morning that it has acquired Newtoy, a Texas-based developer of mobile games. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Newtoy makes Game With Friends, including the titles Words with Friends and Chess with Friends. As part of the acquisition, Zynga said that Newtoy's McKinney, Texas headquarters will become The Zynga With Friends Studio.
