said this morning that it has acquired Redwood City-based
Altor Networks
, a provider of virtualization security tools. The deal is worth $95M in cash. Juniper said the buy will extend its leadership in the security market for the enterprise and service provider virtualization markets. Altor Networks was backed by Accel Partners, DAG Ventures, Foundation Capital, and also by Juniper Networks itself.
