Unidym Sold To Korean Firm
Sunnyvale-based Unidym, a developer of carbon nanotube technology, has been sold to Korean electronics firm Wisepower Co. Ltd, according to investor Arrowhead Research. According to Arrowhead, Wisepower Co. Ltd will pay $5M upfront and up to $140M in earnout for Unidym. In addition to Arrowhead, Unidym's investors included Battelle, Tokyo Electron Limited, and Entegris.
