Vook Gets $5.25M
Alameda-based Vook, the publisher of electronic books headed by Brad Inman, has raised $5.25M in funding, the firm said this morning. The funding came from VantagePoint Venture Partners and Floodgate. Vook said the funding will go towards sales and technology. Vook's digitally published books are specifically designed for tablets, smart phones, and electronic book readers.
