San Jose-based Cirtas Systems, a developer of enterprise focused cloud storage hardware, announced Tuesday that it has raised $22.5M in a Series B funding. The funding was led by Shasta Ventures and Bessemer Venture Partners, and also included NEA, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Amazon. The funding brings the total raised by the company to $32.5M. AS part of the funding, Ravi Mohan of Shasta Ventures joins the company's board. Cirtas develops a hardware device which provides enterprise storage, while using Amazon's S3 cloud storage backend for cloud storage.
