Google Launches iPhone Translation App

announced Tuesday afternoon that it has launched its Google Translate for iPhone application. The application allows users to speak a word or phrase into an iPhone, and translate that into one of more than 50 languages. The application also supports listening to 23 of those languages. Google had originally released a HTMl5 web application version of GOogle Tranlate for the iPhone back in August of 2008.
