Intel Invests $26M In Six Companies
Intel Capital, the venture capital arm of chip giant Intel, said today that it invested approximately $26M across six companies. Intel said it invested in open source mobile software firm Borqs, location-based mapping company CloudMade, image sensor firm InVisage, open source video firm Kaltura, authentication software provider SecureKey Technologies, and unified communications software firm VisionOSS Solutions. Specific amounts invested in each firm were not announced. CloudMade is in Menlo Park and is InVisage Technologies.
