San Francisco-based
TuneUp Media, which publishes plug-in software for iTunes to clean up music descriptions, titles, and cover art, said today that it has added $2M in funding, bringing its Series C round to $6.3M. The round came from IDG VEntures, a prior investor in the company. TuneUp said the new funding will go to develop new products, build out its team, and increase its marketing spend. The firm said the funding brings its total raised to $8.5M.
