StumbleUpon Raises $17M
San Francisco-based StumbleUpon, which develops web discovery software, said Wednesday that it has raised $17M in a Series B funding round. The round came from Accel Partners, August Capital, DAG Ventures, First Round Capital and Sherpalo Ventures. StumbleUpon, which is headed by Garrett Camp, was previously part of eBay, which acquired the firm in May of 2007. The founders of the firm later re-acquired StumbleUpon in April of 2009.
