YouTube Buys Green Parrot Pictures
Google's online video site, YouTube, said Tuesday that it has acquired Green Parrot Pictures, a firm which develops digital video technology to improve low quality online videos. YouTube said that Green Parrot's software helps fix jerky, blurry, or unsteady videos, and also help improve bandwidth usage and playback speed. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
