Facebook Buys Snaptu
Israeli mobile social networking application provider Snaptu has been acquired by Facebook, the firm said over the weekend. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Snaptu is a developer of mobile apps, including a Facebook mobile application for a variety of phones. Snaptu was venture backed by Sequoia Capital and Carmel Ventures.
