Google Takes On Facebook With +1
Mountain View-based Google said Wednesday that it has launched a new "+1" button on its search results, allowing users to recommend website to others. The effort shows up similarly to Facebook's Like button, allowing people to see what other users have indicated they like a web page. Google said the +1 buttons will show up in search results and ads on Google.com over the coming weeks.
