Pluribus Networks, an early stage firm developing technology related to high speed virtual networks, has raised $17.5M in a funding round. The funding came from New Enterprise Associates and Mohr Davidow Ventures, and was revealed through a regulatory filing this week. Pluribus Networks was founded by Sunay Tripathi, Robert Drost, and C.K. Ken Yang. Tripathi and Drost were previously at Sun Microsystems, and Yang at the University of California, Los Angeles.
