Woodman Labs Gets Series A Funding For GoPro Cameras
Half Moon Bay-based Woodman Labs, the maker of the GoPro sports camera line, has scored a Series A funding round, according to reports from the WSJ. The funding was led by Steamboat Ventures, the venture capital arm of Walt Disney Company. No details on the funding have been announced by the company. GoPro cameras are helmet-mounted, attached to bicycles and surfboards, and are used in other rugged action sports.
